Becoming Similar

Although I started to watch it a few days ago, I could just finally finish the “Thrive” documentary this morning.

Six hours after that I am sitting in a Starbucks and looking around for a moment while typing my blog article on my MacBook and drinking my low-fat, decaf coffee that I could finish in half yet. I am feeling like I just woke up from a 38-year-old deep sleep, like refreshed all my perspectives and thoughts about life.

And then I noticed the guy who I assume a South Asian and has the same computer and same notebook with me. Then I am turning my head slightly around with a child curiosity. I saw a pretty young girl. We use the same headphones. Really?

Then I think to myself. The more we become the same, it is easier to be governed, it is easier to guide our dreams, our expectations, even our free wills. When we are all same, it becomes more predictable and more easy to be managed.

Then I ask myself once again.
